Description
In the present review, experimental results on the plasma transport in stochastic magnetic fields are given in comparison with typical models proposed so far. Topics such as the formation of magnetic islands and stochastic magnetic fields, analytical models to characterize stochastic magnetic fields, comparison of analytical models with numerical calculations, analytical models for plasma transport, three-dimensional numerical simulation on plasma transport, observations of plasma parameter distributions and fluctuations and their comparisons with models are discussed in reference to the literature.
