Description
Linear and nonlinear methods of information extraction are adopted in this paper to process aero-radioactive data acquired in Taoshan district. Aero-radioactive anomalies are extracted to a large extent and indicators of granite-type uranium deposit are established. Based on those indicators, assessment to uranium mineralization potential has been performed in this area using ore-forming favorability method. Recognition probability of known units of uranium deposit reaches 86.4%, this suggests that indicators and evaluating model are valid and can be used in the prediction of mineralization potential in new areas.
