Surface analysis of a solid from the spectra of soft X-ray-produced low-energy electrons
- 1. Rostovskij-na-Donu Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Rostov-na-Donu (Russian Federation). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Fiziki
Description
It is shown that secondary slow electron spectra, excited by soft X radiation, have information on the solids surface properties. A method for the spectra detection is proposed. By means of the method the spectra are split up into two components one of which reflects the surface properties and other one - the characteristics of more deeply positioned layers
