A comparison between CCCC and symmetric silicon monochromators

The relationship between the source brilliance and the power of the exit beam from a crystal monochromator is discussed and used to compare the intensity and flux from a CCCC monochromator with that from symmetric-cut silicon monochromators. (orig.)
