Simulation of EAS Cherenkov radiation with account of geomagnetic field

Description
The statistical simulation of the Cherenkov radiation of extensive air showers (EAS), formed by protons with energies of 100 and 1000 TeV, is carried out. The purpose of the simulation consisted in the attempt to explain great difference in the rate of counting the air showers in the northern and southern directions, which was registered by the Cherenkov telescope, located in the Tien Shan mountains. The model of angular spatial distribution of the EAS Cherenkov light was created on the basis of the simulation results and with an account of geomagnetic field

Проведено статистическое моделирование черенковского излучения широких атмосферных ливней (ШАЛ), образованных протонами с энергиями 100 и 1000 ТэВ. Целью моделирования была попытка объяснить большую разницу скорости счета атмосферных ливней в направлениях на север и на юг, которая зарегистрирована черенковским телескопом, расположенным в горах Тань-Шаня.
