Eco information 6. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost, a.s., on the environment, Locality of Bohunice, within June 2011

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP, Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (TSU RAO) and Interim Spent Fuel Storage (MSVP) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - June 2011 (for NPP V1, TSU RAO, and MSVP, respectively) were: 1.764 TBq (0.088% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 2.336 MBq (0.003% AL) for V1), 1.157 MBq (0.123% of AL) for TSU RAO and 0.123 MBq (0.043% of AL) for MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.365 MBq (0.001% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a June 2011 for NPP V1, TSU RAO and MSVP, respectively) were: 0.294 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 0.209 MBq (V1), 0.221 MBq (TSU RAO) and 0.034 MBq (MSVP) of aero-soles; 0.058 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.418 MBq (V1) and 8.918 MBq (TSU RAO and MSVP, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 0.002 GBq (V1) and 21.721 GBq (TSU RAO and MSVP, totally) of tritium (into the Vah River) and 0.0 GBq of tritium (V1, into the Dudvah River). For the period January - June 2011 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 13.762 MBq (0.106% of AL) for V1, 62.514 MBq (0.521% of AL) for TSU RAO and MSVP, totally; and for tritium it is 524.0 GBq (2.620% of AL) for V1, 159.161 GBq (1.592% of AL) for TSU RAO (into the Vah River) and 0.000 GBq (0.000% of AL) for V1 (into the Dudvah River). Chemical effluents are reported, too.
