Spectroscopic study for electron capture collision of O6+ + He

  • 1. University of Electro-Communications, Chofu, Tokyo (Japan)

Description

Single and double electron transfer from He to O6+ were investigated by emission spectrum in the wavelength region of 275-520nm. We have observed the transitions between excited states of O5+ after single electron capture, Rydberg states of O4+ after double electron capture to the nonequivalent electron configurations, and excited states of target ions.
