Preliminary results on the removal of SO2 from gases by electron beam irradiation

Description
The preliminary experiments on the removal of SO2 from gases by electron beam irradiation were completed. The results show that the rate of SO2 removal is proportional to the dose absorbed by the gases; and at the presence of NH3 the required dose for the same removal rate is reduced apparently. The products are the liquid of sulfurs acid without presence of NH3 and the powder of ammonium sulfate with presence of NH3
