Measurement of electroweak parameters at PETRA

Description
Results on electroweak neutral current interactions from PETRA experiments are reviewed. Interference effects manifesting themselves in charge asymmetries have been observed in lepton pair production as well as in charm and bottom quark production. Direct weak contributions due to Z0 propagator effects are clearly observed through the rise of the total hadronic cross section at the highest energies. The data will be compared to the parameters of the standard model
