Analysis of time behavior of prompt neutrons in critical assemblies with blanket heterogeneities

Description

Prompt neutrons time-dependent behaviour measured in fast critical facility with heterogeneous blanket (polyethylene clusters were incorporated) was analyzed using three-points kinetics model. It is shown that alpha-Rossi distributions are described by one exponential curve for an experiment without polyethylene and by two exponential curves for the experiment with polyethylene. 3 refs., 5 tabs
