Experimental determination of modal parameters for rotors

Description
In the present paper an experimental method of determining modal parameters (eigenvalues and natural shapes of vibration) of rotor friction bearing systems is described. The method was applied at a simple rotor test stand (Laval shaft). It may possibly be used for larger turborotors, too, if a corresponding opportunity is given for excitation. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine experimentelle Methode zur Ermittlung modaler Groessen (Eigenwerte und Eigenschwingungsformen) von Rotor-Gleitlager-Systemen beschrieben. Das Verfahren wurde an einem einfachen Rotorpruefstand (Lavalwelle) angewendet. Es kann u.U. auch bei groesseren Turborotoren eingesetzt werden, wenn eine entsprechende Moeglichkeit zur Erregung gegeben ist. (orig.)Additional details
