Fuel assembly for reactor
Description
Purpose: To permit reliable measurement of flow rate and the like by giving a flow rate distribution advantageous to measuring instruments such as flow detectors provided at the outlet section of the fuel assembly. Constitution: A cladding tube having a plurality of fuel elements is provided on the inner periphery of its upper portion with a neutron shield section projecting radially inwardly over the entire periphery and having a lower inclined guide surface such as to direct the flow of the coolant to a central portion, and a neutron shield member having coolant passages formed on its outer periphery is mounted in a central portion below the shield section.
