Photoionization with correlation in atoms

Description
Second order perturbation theory is used to describe decay processes in atoms in which the photon emission is accompained by the transition of two electrons. In this description, the perturbed hamiltonian is described as the sum of the interaction of all electrons involved in the process, and the interaction of these electrons with the radiation field. The same model is used to describe photoionization with correlation. (A.C.A.S.)
Abstract (Portuguese)
Teoria da perturbacao em segunda ordem foi utilizada para descrever processos de decaimento em atomos em que a emissao de um foton e acompanhada pela transicao de dois eletrons. Nesta descricao a Hamiltoniana de perturbacao e descrita como a soma da interacao entre os eletrons envolvidos no processo e a interacao desses eletrons com o campo de radiacao. O mesmo modelo e utilizado para descrever a fotoionizacao com correlacao. (A.C.A.S.)Files
