Description

The maintenance of nuclear facilities has to conform with thigh safety requirements and should be time saving at the same time. The component status monitoring is increasingly used perform condition oriented maintenance. The component monitoring is based on a continuous calculation of criteria that allow the evaluation of the functionality and the condition of the specific component. Surveillance of the safe operation (early recognition of faults) und optimum condition-oriented maintenance cycles can increase the availability of the plant. For the owner of the utility this procedure allows the enhancement of profitability and safety of the utility. The software tool ZiValis based on the data validation is used for off-line monitoring of recuperative heat exchangers.
