A quantum mechanical analogue for the q-oscillator

Description
We point out that the q-deformed quantum oscillator, with q = exp 2π i/k, k being an integer, and the quantum mechanical system consisting of a charge moving on a k-point discretized circle, around a shielded magnetic flux Φ = π/2 (k+2), have identical spectra. (orig.)
