Study on the special issue in D-3He fusion plasma
Description
Being different from D-T fusion reaction, all energetic charged particles are produced in D-3He fusions reaction, the calculation accuracy of their energy loss rate or slowing down time directly makes a notable impacts on energy balance and fast ion pressure during the initial phase of slowing down processes in background plasma. The studies show that it is better to use the Coulomb logarithm with quantum mechanical correction at the high-energy end in describing their thermalization process, because the quantum mechanical effect on Coulomb logarithm is not negligible based on binary collision assumption
