Decomposition of VOCs in a Microwave Torch Plasma

Description

Results of a study of decomposition of several volatile organic compounds (CH4, CCl4, CHCl3 and CCC6H5CH3) in their mixtures with air in a microwave torch plasma are presented. Concentration of VOCs used in the experiment were 0.5 - 3 %. It was found the microwave torch plasma fully decompose the VOCs. (author)
