Description
Experimental works of nuclear heating rate measurement on fusion reactor candidate material performed at the Fusion Neutronics Source facility (FNS) in JAERI is reviewed. The materials in which heating rates were measured are Be, C, Li2O, Fe and W. The measurements were carried out using the interpolation method with a plural kinds of thermoluminescence detectors (TLDs) and the weighting function method with a small spherical NE213 liquid scintillation detector. The experiments were compared with the computed results by DOT3.5/FUSION-J3 code and nuclear data processed from JENDL-3. (author)
