The study of safety for the host rock of geologic repository for high-level radioactive waste
Description
The disposal of high-level radioactive waste is system engineering. The role and safety function of host rock in the disposal system can be studied in view of system safety. The selection of appropriate site is very important for the safety of geologic repository. The design and concept of engineering barriers should be consistent with the characters of host rock. The site selection should be analyzed in view of system safety of disposal system and the characters of host rock are not determinant factors. (authors)
