The contribution presents data and information allowing to compare the environmental risks linked to the energy sources, such as coal, nuclear energy, or others. Environmental risk can mean to include the health hazard and the effects on the climate. The contribution here focuses on a comparative assessment of health hazards (due to pollutants), while the other type of impact (global climate) is mentioned only briefly. (orig./DG)

Ergebnisse von Untersuchungen zu den Umweltriskiken des Einsatzes von Kohle, Kernenergie und anderen Energietraegern werden angegeben, soweit sie im Normalbetrieb auftreten. Unter Umweltrisiken koennen das Gesundheitsrisiko und das klimatische Risiko verstanden werden. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf vergleichenden Betrachtungen von Umweltbelastungen (Gesundheitsrisiko durch Schadstoffbelastungen). Auf Umweltbelastungen anderer Art (Risiko der Klimaveraenderung) wird nur kurz eingegangen. (orig./DG)Additional details
