Negative parity states and the interacting boson model

  • 1. Inst. of Physics, M. Curie-Sklodowska Univ., 20-031 Lublin (Poland)

Description

In this paper the negative parity states 3- and 5- of even nuclei with A ∼100 and A ∼ 150 are analyzed. The dependence of the excited energy on the product of valence neutrons and protons, Nπ Nν, shows the similar feature as for the 2+ and 4+ levels. The preliminary results of the IBM calculation with the f-boson and the Nπ Nν dependence are compared with experimental data
