NMR 31P spectra and composition of heteropolyanion P2W17O6110- complexes with lanthanide ions

Description
Complexes of P2W17O6110- heteropolyanions (Dowson HPA) with cell lanthanide ions (including Pm3+ were studied by 31P NMR. It is shown that Dowson HPA(L) form complexes of the composition ML and ML2 with rate earths. Heavy lanthanides form complexes of the composition ML with HPA easily enough, the complexes having high thermodynamic and kinetic stabilities. Light lanthanides form with HPA at M:L=1:1 and 1:2 only comlexes of the composition ML2, also possessing high thermodynamic stability
