Standard model and a little beyond
Description
A few theoretical motivations to go beyond the standard model for electroweak interactions are reviewed. The simplest candidates for such an extension are grand unification, supersymmetry, composite or left-right symmetric models. Could one of them solve the possible crisis arising from the new measurements of the B-meson decays confronted with CP violation in the kaon system. 78 references, 2 figures, 2 tables
