Advanced laser fusion target fabrication research and development proposal

Description

A research and development program is described that will enable the fabrication of 106 targets/day for a laser fusion prototype power reactor in 2007. We give personnel and cost estimates for a generalized laser fusion target that requires the development of several new technologies. The total cost of the program between 1979 and 2007 is $362 million in today's dollars
