Track kinetics of volume tracks in crystals

Description

Track kinetics for volume tracks in crystals are described on the basis of track etch rate data for uranium tracks. The simple approach of single etchant passage to reveal the volume tracks is used and the variation of VETL (Volume etched track length) is studied using track profiles from computer. The optimum conditions and possible charge resolution are considered for this analysis. (author)
