Laser for holographic track detection in a bubble chamber

Description

The unimode ruby optical quantum generator (OQG) intended to be used as a light source in the holographic detection system of elementary particle tracks in a bubble chamber is described. Generator's parameters: maximum permissible light pulse energy - 0.87, radiation coherence length - 1 m, beam divergence - 3 min; light pulse duration - 40ns, speed of response - 1 pulse per 4s, service life number of operations - 40 ths. The results of holography by means of this generator of the track model optical fibres are presented. The realized experiments of full- scale holography of the chamber mock-up by means of the unimode ruby QQG have shown that the parameters of the developed gene-- rator and the method of focused image holography allow one to realize holographic detection of real tracks in the bubble chamber with high accuracy
