Description
An installation for water isotopic distillation using a heat pump is described together with the results obtained for performance testing. The utilization energy efficiency was determined and a value of 5.44 was obtained in the case of equality between the amount of energy required by the isotopic distillation and the energy supplied by the heat pump. The high energy saving coefficient of 50 % to 80 % of the heat pump developed for the distillation installation permits both industrial and civil general applications as well
