Description
The design of modernized rolling mill for electroplastic deformation is considered. High-density electrical current is applied to rollers and processed material in order to facilitate the processing of difficultly deforming alloys. The mathematical model of electroplastic deformation process is proposed. The empirical coefficients used in calculations are found for the conditions of flattening wire of Kh18N10T steel and tungsten. 4 refs. 2 figs
