Installation for studying behavior of environments fuel rods of WWER reactors at failure with loss of the heat-carrier

Description
Development of representations about behavior of environment fuel rods at failure, in particular at failure with loss of the heat-carrier (LOCA) is necessary for a substantiation of safety reactor installations. The stand 'Thermo-shock' has been developed for tests of environment fuel rod in the conditions approached to conditions of failures under different scripts. Basic characteristics of the stand are submitted in the given report. Main principle of tests is heating by the electric current of environments of breadboard models fuel rods loaded with pressure down to 16MPa at various speeds of heating up to destruction
