A method for estimating the positron annihilaton lineshape in metals

Description

An expression for, and a method for estimating, the positron annihilation lineshape S and H parameters in metals is presented. In order to examine the reliability of this method, the lineshape parameters S and H of 15 kinds of annealed metals have been measured. The estimated values of all the metals except cadmium are in agreement with the results of experimental measurements. (Auth.)
