Creators
- 1. Indian Inst. of Horticultural Research, Bangalore (India). Isotope Laboratory
Description
Field experiments have been carried out in onion (cv. Arka Kalyan) and chilli (cv. Arka Lohit) using 32P labelled superphosphate to evaluate the comparative efficiency of depths of placement at different levels of applied P fertilizer. The results indicated that both in chilli and onion, placement of fertilizers at a depth of five cm resulted in better utilisation and saving of fertilizers. 2 refs
