Description

The object of the investigation was frogs (Rana arvalis) caught in radio contaminated area of the Khojniki District of the Gomel Region and control animals caught in the Minsk Region. Such criteria of apoptosis as the number of bone marrow cells with destroyed plasmatic membrane and content of condensed and fragmented chromatin in the cells were analysed. It was established more high level of damaged cells in animals from radio contaminated regions. The additional acute gamma-irradiation in dose 2.0 Gy elicited the differences in the level and dynamics of apoptosis of bone marrow cells in control animals and those caught in Khojniki District
