Description

The management of end-of-life systems becomes a major concern for system manufacturers because of the awareness of their environmental impact and their economical perspectives. In this context, disassembly planning aims at selecting valuable components of end-of-life systems, their recycling options and the way of obtaining them. In this paper, we propose a modeling method to optimize disassembly planning with different types of uncertainties that are inevitable in disassembly process. Based on influence diagrams, the model serves both as problem formulation and optimization tool for disassembly planning. (authors)
