Corporate plan 1989/90 to 1993/94
Description
The NRPB's Corporate Plan for the financial period 1989/90 through to 1993/94, both years inclusive, is presented. The document indicates the broad programme areas in which the NRPB intends to concentrate its efforts and the trends it expects over the planning period. Major issues are expected to be: new recommendations from the ICRP for control of exposure and subsequent national recommendations on dose limitation; public exposures and aspects of radiation in the environment, particularly radon; and increasing awareness of non-ionising radiation. The NRPB's commercial policy is also outlined. (UK)
