Description
Present paper discusses the regularities of change of thermochemical characteristics of intermetallic compounds of equimolar composition Mg Ln (Ln - lanthanoids). Melting temperature and enthalpy of intermetallic compounds Mg Ln, where Ln are lanthanides have been determined by means of calculating and semi-empirical methods. The regularities of change of characteristics of equimolar alloy composition Mg Ln depending on nature of lanthanides have been defined. A clear separation of changes dependence of properties of intermetallic compounds by subgroups of lanthanides with manifestation of tetra effect has been shown. (author)
