Siemens advanced PWR high thermal performance fuel assemblies

Creators

  • 1. Siemens Power Corporation-Nuclear Division, Richland (United States)

Description

Siemens has developed and deployed its most advanced PWR fuel design-the High Thermal Performance (HTP) fuel assembly. The HTP fuel assembly represents an optimum combination of neutronics, thermal hydraulics, structural design and fuel reliability. Unique to the HTP fuel design are the all-Zircaloy HTP and modified lower spacers and the FUELGUARDTM lower tie plate (LTP)
