Reactor instruments
Description
Object: To seal or circulate a liquid metal or a coolant into instruments such as in-pile measuring detector and the like attached to a reactor to cool internal instruments thereby enabling said instruments to be mounted in the neighbourhood of a reactor core. Structure: An iron core with a coil wound thereabout having outgoing lines is inserted into a metal case along with liquid metal and inert gas to constitute an in-pile flow meter causing the liquid metal to effect cooling action, thus enabling said in-pile flow meter to be mounted in the neighbourhood of a reactor core.
