Neutron detection using superheated drops. Progress report, May 1, 1983-June 30, 1984
Description
Superheated drops immersed in a gel will vaporize when exposed to neutrons of sufficient energy. We have originated this concept and have carried out research with the goal of working toward the development of neutron dosimeters, area monitors, and spectrometers. Our work in the past year has strongly reinforced our confidence that we can achieve this goal
