Fast neutrons in a wide angular range

Description
The Fermi jet theory explains the production of high-energetic light particles in heavy-ion reactions. The calculated angular distributions, however, are much sharper bundled in the forward direction than the experimental ones. We show that the deficiency can be removed by a quantum-mechanical treatment of the emission process. (orig.)
