The Coronet, an obscured cluster adjacent to R Corona Austrina

Description
A small cluster of obscured, young stars has been discovered around R Corona Austrina. The infrared colours of these stars are consistent with their being recently-formed pre-main-sequence stars. This discovery removes a long-standing anomaly whereby the RCrA region, despite having all the other features of a star formation region, appeared to contain very few young stars. The name 'Coronet' is suggested for this new cluster. (author)
