Description

A first article addresses the challenges related to the transport of very short lifetime radionuclides which are used in medicine (transport of highly enriched uranium targets, control of thousands of parcels every day before shipping, parcel traceability, personnel dosimetry, and management of emergency situations). An interview explains the role of an adviser in transport safety working for companies transporting radio-pharmaceutical products. Another interview discusses the return on experience and actions of sensitization in terms of radiation protection for the transport of radioactive materials from different origins (nuclear energy, industrial radiography, medicine, and so on)
