Extraction of ethylenediaminetetraacetic complexes of rare earths with alkylammonium salts

Description
Extraction of ethylenediaminetetraacetic (EDTA) complexes of rare earths (Ln) by alkylammonium salts has been studied. Extraction constants have been ascertained. The strongest extracted associated are formed when dodecylammonium salts are used, as a result, extractability of the metal complexes correlates with solubility of M1LnEDTA salts in water. 8 refs.; 4 tabs
