Device for solidification and drying of slurried poisonous or radioactive materials

Description
The storage vessel is lined with bitumen and stands on a heater. The slurry is filled into the vessel and is solidified using a plunger drier. The plungers of this can be heated, can be lowered into the vessel and can rotate with their guides. After solidification, the contents of the vessel are heated by floor heaters so that the bitumen melts. The mixing of the solidified material and bitumen is again carried out by the plunger which can be lowered and rotated. (DG)

Das Lagerfass ist mit Bitumen ausgekleidet und steht auf einer Heizvorrichtung. In das Fass wird der Schlamm eingefuellt und mittels eines Stoesseltrockners eingedickt. Die Stoessel sind hierzu beheizbar, in das Fassinnere absenkbar und mitsamt ihrer Halterung drehbar. Nach dem Eindicken erfolgt eine Aufheizung des Fassinhaltes mittels der Bodenheizung derart, dass das Bitumen schmilzt. Die Durchmischung von eingedicktem Gut und Bitumen erfolgt wiederum mittels der absenk- und drehbaren Stoessel. (DG)Files
