Pulmonary uptake of 198Au during liver scanning in two patients with amyloidosis

Lung uptake of 198Au-colloid, injected for a liver scan, is demonstrated in two patients with systemic amyloidosis. The incidence, importance and mechanism of this phenomenon is discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Bei Zwei Patienten mit generalisierter Amyloidose wird gezeigt, dass die Lunge das fuer ein Leberszintigramm injizierte 198Au-Kolloid aufnimmt. Das Vorkommen, die schwerwiegende Bedeutung und der Mechanismus der Lungenmitspeicherung beim Leberszintigramm werden diskutiert. (orig.)
