Germany´s program in the frame of the "Global Partnership" with Russia. Agenda item 1.03.1 (Presentation in Russian)

Description

The presentation provides a review of the German assistance programme for dismantlement of decommissioned nuclear submarines in Russia as of 2012. These efforts included: the enhancement of submarine dismantlement equipment at a shipyard and construction of a storage facility for defueled submarine reactor compartments. Both projects had been completed. The last ongoing project included the construction of the Centre for Conditioning and Storage of Radioactive Waste (RW) in Saida Bay. The description of various RW treatment facilities to be installed in the centre was provided in the presentation.
