Device for measuring the density of a single-or multi-phase flow
Description
The density measuring facility consists essentially of two staggered gamma point sources (192Ir or 137Cs) arranged around a flow channel. By means of collimators single beams are formed passing through the flow channel in a certain scanning pattern. The absorption values picked up by individual detectors are used to determine the phase distribution states, e.g. of the void flow. For determination of the mass flow two of the density measuring facilities have to be connected in series. (DG)

Die Dichtemessanlage besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei zueinander versetzten Gamma-Punktstrahlern (Ir-192 oder Cs-137) um einen Stroemungskanal herum. Mittels Kollimatoren werden Einzelstrahlen gebildet, welche den Stroemungskanal in einem bestimmten Raster durchqueren. Die von einzelnen Detektoren aufgenommenen Absorptionswerte werden zur Ermittlung der Phasenverteilungszustaende, z.B. der Blasenstroemung, verwendet. Zur Ermittlung des Massestromes sind zwei der Dichtemessanlagen im Stroemungsrichtung hintereinander zu schalten. (DG)Files
