Decontamination of radioactive contaminated surfaces
Description
This standard refers to the determination of surface contaminations of any kind, in particular in connection with: 1) Places of work where open radioactive substances are handled, 2) packages containing radioactive substances, 3) transport vehicles which have carried radioactive substances. The standard contains definitions, methods for contamination detection and for carrying out the measurement, and the recording of the examination. (orig./HP)

Die Norm gilt fuer die Bestimmung von Kontaminationen an Oberflaechen jeglicher Art, insbesondere: 1) an Arbeitsplaetzen, an denen mit offenen radioaktiven Stoffen umgegangen wird, 2) an Versandstuecken, die radioaktive Stoffe enthalten, 3) an Transportfahrzeugen, in denen radioaktive Stoffe transportiert worden sind. Sie enthaelt Begriffserlaeuterungen, Verfahren zur Kontaminationspruefung und Durchfuehrung der Messung und Protokollierung der Pruefung. (orig./HP)Additional details
