The paper discusses an approach to the organization of the operator service for a modern plant control. This approach is based on a product-oriented model of states to describe a plant and its elements. The model has allowed to common rules of plant handling and to formalize some procedures of make reach decisions. 13 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
