Description

This study focuses on collecting and organizing information. This information can be used as the basis for a policy line by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) for wind energy in agricultural companies. The aim of the project is to gain insight in: (1) the possible role of agricultural wind energy in the national energy supply; (2) the current and future business economic effects of wind energy on the agricultural farm; and (3) the current and future effect of wind energy on the local rural economy in general and specifically the economic meaning of wind energy for the regional economy in the region of Flevoland.

Abstract (Dutch)

Het onderzoek richt zich op het verzamelen en ordenen van informatie. Deze informatie kan de basis vormen voor een beleidslijn van het ministerie van LNV voor windenergie op agrarische bedrijven. Doel van het project is om inzicht te krijgen in: (1) de mogelijke rol van agrarische windenergie in de nationale energievoorziening; (2) de huidige en toekomstige bedrijfseconomische effecten van windenergie op het agrarische bedrijf; en (3) het huidige en toekomstige effect van windenergie op de lokale plattelandseconomie in het algemeen en specifiek de economische betekenis van windenergie op de regionale economie in Flevoland.
