Study of polymer-salt compositions containing anionic forms of d-metals

  • 1. Ural'skij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation)

Description

Composition based on water-soluble polymers (polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, methyl cellulose) and anionic forms of d-metals (molybdates, tungstates, vanadates) are studied by a set of physico-chemical methods. The compositions are investigated in the isothermal mode (at indoor temperature), starting from the stage of preparation of the respective aqueous solutions and up to the production of polymer-salt films. Transitions from one ion form to the other, as well as associated salt-polymer interactions are registered under the change of salt concentration in the solutions
